A Few Loose Threads – A Quilting Blog

Getting Organized

I love to re-purpose things that I find.  This is a shower caddy that I found at Target awhile back.  I was saving it for my daughter to take to college with her this past August.  Wouldn’t you know it, but she isn’t a pink girl…so I got organized!  It’s great – I can take it to class whether I’m teaching or a student.  Lots of pockets and the best part was that it was under $10.

I love repurposing, especially if it means putting lots of things in one organized place. That’s a great idea. I might have an extra garden tool bucket organizer I can use in the same way for classes.

  2. I use tool bags from Home Depot too – lots of pockets, sturdy and inexpensive~!

I found something similar at Michael’s that is very handy for carrying my “must have” tools back and forth to the shop. If I were really smart and organized, I’d just have duplicates of the important stuff so I wouldn’t have to carry anything back and forth!

What a fabulous find – I do like storage things – tend to lean towards blue bags, which frustrates my husband terribly as whenever asked for the location of an item – the response, in the blue bag -means something to me….
    Cheers Jennifer
