Hopscotch
Hopscotch is kind of an addictive little pattern, a new design in the Just for Fun! group. I made this one from a Crazy Eight charm pack – a darling Christmas line from Sandy Gervais. Maybe you have one or two charm packs stashed away waiting for the perfect project?

Remember to comment this week about when you learned to quilt – the drawing for one of five new patterns will be held on Sunday May 9th.

Hi, Celine: Love your new patterns! They are always such great go-to patterns when you want something attractive, well thought out, and with clear directions. I learned to quilt in January of 1981. I signed up for a community ed class with a co-worker. I have to say, it wasn’t the best class, but it did expose me to rotary cutting and strip piecing. I was hooked!
This is a great design. A different Christmas look. Maybe it would be possible to rearrange it and make it into a Christmas checkerboard tabletopper. That would be fun, don’t you think? Quilting is a great gift to the sewer who wants to justify all that material in the stash cupboard. I’m thankful for my first class in 1996.
