Cotton Candy
This version of Cotton Candy is done in the Astor Manor fabric line from Moda. I have a weakness for brown and pink….this is such a pretty group! Again, a charm friendly pattern.

Remember to comment this week about when you learned to quilt – the drawing for one of five new patterns will be held on Sunday May 9th.

I’ve taught myself to quilt over the years. I started with JoAnn Fabric BOM back in 1998 and finally finished them the past few years. I made my first granddgt a baby quilt and handquilted it 5 years ago and then took off quilting from there!! Robin
I used to tie quilts with yarn when I lived at home. I actually did one for a home ec project in high school. I have tied quilts for my babies who were being born. About four or five years ago I took my first piecing class. I’d wanted to do it for a long time and completely fell in love with it! I’ve always liked to sew but kind of got out of the habit as my kids grew and didn’t want to wear homemade clothes any more. I have found a love for applique and still take classes off and on to learn new techniques and hints. I wish I had more time to do it too!
This is another great runner. I’ve taken to making more runners now. Easy to store, easy to give away, and easy to change decor. Always wanted to quilt but retirement in 1996 gave me the time.
I love pink and brown also – this runner pattern is adorable Melisa!
