I actually did one for a home ec project in high school. I have tied quilts for my babies who were being born. About four or five years ago I took my first piecing class. I'd wanted to do it for a long time and completely fell in love with it! I've always liked to sew but kind of got out of the habit as my kids grew and didn't want to wear homemade clothes any more. I have found a love for applique and still take classes off and on to learn new techniques and hints. I wish I had more time to do it too! I used to tie quilts with yarn when I lived at home.
